Thanks to all who came out to support our 3rd Annual car wash. The weather did not hold off but we still had a great time raising money for our two heros on the left. To find out more please go to our events blog or profiles blog to learn more about the cause. It sounds like we may be participating in another car wash next week to benefit the local families devastated by the recent tornadoes. Please bee on the lookout for more info. We also had a great turnout for the First Friday held in downtown Perrysburg. It sounds like over 2000 people attended the event. Car Wash
Published Wed, 02 Jun 2010 22:17:00 +0000

Keep your fingers crossed for our rescheduled Car Wash benefiting Hope Burkin and Ty Swoap, this Saturday June 5 at Marco's Pizza. Our car wash was rained out last month and it looks as if there is a chance of rain this Sat.

We are hoping to raise a lot of money for our local heroes. In addition to helping out with on-going medical bills we are trying to raise the last of the funds needed to send Ty and his family to Disney World. The Kids Wish Network is granting Ty's Wish through generous contributions but still need some help.

Remeber the Car Wash is free however any and all donations go directly to these great local families. In addition, Mister Freeze will be handing out gift cards to all who donate!

Thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteers for helping to continue this 3rd annual event! Hope to see everyone there!

New to the website is a Sponsor page that is linked to the Fire on the Fairways tab under events on the top of this page. Our first featured sponsor is Engaging Data who is the architect of our website. So we found it only appropriate to feature him first. If you are interested in starting a website Scott Francis is your man. Be sure to check out the new page with all of his contact info. In addition, the sponsor page will continue to feature our generous sponsors of our 19th annual "Fire on the fairways" July 19th. Bee sure and click on the graphic to the left for more info on our golf outing, including team registration, and ways to sponsor. Not only will you find info on our sponsors all year on the sponsor page, but also info on all of the great raffles prizes we are putting together. Hope to see you there!

A Big Thank You!
Published Sun, 19 Apr 2009 01:03:00 +0000

The car wash was a huge success! The weather stole the show, however there are many thank you's that need to go around. First of all we would like to thank the families of Hope Burkin and Ty Swoap. Without them we could not have done as well. Everyone was busy, even the kids got involved. Another big thank you has to go to the community for coming out and supporting the event. Finally, another huge thank you for Marcos Pizza (the perfect location for a car wash), Mr. Freeze (for donating the gift certificates), and Alex at Car Brite for donating all of the car wash supplies. Bee sure to check out the photos in the slideshow above. If anyone has other photos please email them to us and we will post them in our events blog.
